Abstract

This article aimed to investigate the association between effort-reward imbalance (ERI) and a variety of other variables, including work satisfaction, turnover, and employee engagement. The characteristics were studied using data obtained via a questionnaire issued to employees in Bahrain's hospitality industry. According to the findings, ERI has a detrimental effect on employee engagement. Furthermore, ERI is associated with decreased job satisfaction. However, the study found no empirical evidence for relationships between ERI and turnover, job satisfaction and turnover, or job satisfaction and employee engagement. According to the present research, employees who receive equitable compensation for their efforts are more likely to produce productive results. Firms that prioritize employee effort and reward them appropriately have a greater probability of success
